From our partner, Seattle Tree Fruit Society:

The STFS Fall Fruit Show will be …
Location: Cedar Valley Grange, 20526 52nd Avenue West, Lynnwood, WA 98036
Date & Time: Sunday, October 23rd, from 10am to 3pm.
Fruit Tasting: In the past, the people cutting fruit slices did not know anything about the apples they were cutting to answer questions from attendees.
This year, we hope to change that with a known 20 apple that did well for us this year and a few other fruits that we would suggest growing.
Of course this is limited to the ripest fruit on this date of October 23rd, 2011.
Fliers and info on each of the apples (& other fruit tasted) will be available so that when one leaves the show, they have good info on how to grow that variety of fruit.
Member Display Tables: This year we hope that we will get members to put up a display of what they grow in their garden and what they produce from their fruit – either a table or half a table. That would give attendees the chance to ask, in person, any questions they may have about what is grown. I hope to hear the room a-buzz with talk about how we grow fruit.
Lectures: will be upstairs and announced soon.
Vendors and Fruit Related Clubs: Tool Sharpening of course. Tool Sales. Fruit clubs are welcomed, please get in touch. (206)715-4149 lorineb@mindspring.com
Cost: Entrance is $3person/$5 family/Free to WCFS members. We hope to sell homemade pies by the slice.
